I ask because I had a dear friend recommend some guys that he works close to in the field that are not out-of-town. Removing all sheet rock (4ft) and all floors (parquet) 5k. Didn't think it was that bad. Again, unfortunately unable to myself....

Option #2 from FEMA was a loan for repairs from what I understand is a very reasonable low rate. After talking to an estate lawyer, per OT's advise, it may be in our best interest to pursue the latter. Signing out, beat, and thanks to all for the opinions and/or info. Peace :geauxtigers:...
