my pow in low got a 300 exp lever action...its bad the only bad thing is hornady is the only person who makes a bullet for it now

The 336w is the bottom of the line 336. Still a great rifle, just not as slim and pretty

That's actually a horrible argument as buffalo were long gone by the time the 30-30 and that rifle design came along.

These guns are obsolete in every way. Good at nothing really. That anyone has interest in them today is really pretty funny.

adding pig to jig... levers not accurate, cumbersome with sling usage, half lever cock causes jams...

meh...point is...hunting has become more about gear and less about killing stuff...people were successful for years with basic rifles like these...and as stated...my buddy has taken two does and a 6 point this season with that rifle...

Lots of things kill deer. i killed one this year with a carbon rod with metal blades attached to the tip of it flung from a string wrapped around a pully and a cam.
