So I finally got a new(to me) truck

2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD Z71 Duramax
The race truck will be safely tuned and passed on to my son , and he will begin detailing and customizing to his liking for when he hits driving age this coming February...

With the exception of the huge arse urea tank on the passengers side, horrible rims, and ifs I love the gm 3/4 tons. In my opinion the duramax/allison Combo is awesome... Nice truck!

nothing wrong with detailing...that means washing waxing every nook and cranny and includes cleaning under carriage, painting frame & fender wells...making a vehicle look like new...are you sure you know what detailing means?
Customizing could be many things...replacement seat covers in leather...catch all floor mats...better stereo(something that can communicate with his iphone...maybe remove the fiberglass camper shell...
we aren't democrats for cripes sake!

Nice truck....I'm a Sierra fan. I had a 2000 model but traded it in for a Tacoma in '06. I'm not wild about the new Sierras.

yeah, well, if I could have made the used truck I've been searching for same everything on it for the last 6 mos. magically pop up on his lot, I would have gladly bought it from him...
I'm beginning to wonder if people even read what they post.
this isn't rocket science...You can't choose who you buy from on a specific purchase if they can't get you what you want.
So I take it if you were looking for a black Volvo with a five speed manual, you would buy a pink Volvo with an automatic from your friend if that is the only Volvo he had? Seems to me your friend wouldn't be a very good one if he allowed you to do that.
