It really is sad...

another friend of mines Dad was going to try and get me the GM employee discount, so we priced out a truck with these exact specs...
$55700 GM employee...
$57800 GM supplier...
$64150 MSRP

I felt it was better to let someone else take the depreciation hit.

Looks like I'll be in the market for a new truck myself. Mine is probably totaled.

Upgrade, or same make and model?

I got my last one using some kind of GM employee golden ticket that they can give out once a month or some shite. I don't know what it's like to pay regular prices. Gulp.

Good one.

But really, I had an '02, looking to get an '11, '12, or '13.

Going to try to get a lightly used one next year with the small rear door.

Yea, I like extended cabs with 6 foot beds, not the lil shorty bed crew cabs.

The '14s and '15s are cool with the doors on the extended cab, but I'm not in a position for one that new. I wanted to drive my '02 for a good few more years, but someone forced my hand a couple days ago.

Right. I have to have as long as I pull a 5er. Not fooling with a slider hitch.

I love having a regular sized bed in my ext cab. Once you add a tool box to those crew cabs, you have virtually no bed left.

I need to add a box for all my discs so they aren't just strewn across the back seat all the time.

You can get a regular size bed on a 1500 with the crew cab now. Used to have to get the 1500hd but they are available in the regular half ton now.

2011 gmc sierra 6.2 here. 120k miles runs like a champ with zero problems thus far.

With the exception of the huge arse urea tank on the passengers side, horrible rims, and ifs I love the gm 3/4 tons. In my opinion the duramax/allison Combo is awesome... Nice truck!

Truck has a abnormally large poon magnet. In testing the driver keep getting high centered on it. Hence, the huge tank. Buddy upgraded his huge arse urea tank to a yeti. Keeps poon magnet cool & operating at peak levels.

I waiting for pelican to come out with theirs.
