I quickly reread the hippocratic oath and I was right, there is nothing in there that prevents me from exercising my right to dispatch a recurrently detrimental nusance animal on my property.

For a family doctor you have some fricked up logic on killing a pet because it gets in the way of your fricking hobby.

What almost everyone in this thread is ignoring is the evolutionary connection between humans and dogs. The two most important steps in early human evolution were:

1. The creation and harnassing of fire.
2. The genetic evolution of the wolf into the dog.

We have an evolutionary link with the dog, unlike any other human/animal relationship.

Very juvenile statement. Considering where it come from is no surprise though. You certainly put the trash in this convo.

I love to use the word dispatch in reference to killing something.

Sorry the cat has caught on that you like to put it in a cage and will not let you get near it. It runs away (back home). Being a mindful neighbor you dont try to capture it in its own yard. The damage continues however, and this morning leaving for work you notice the pungent smell of cat urine sprayed on your front door.

ETA: you also notice that the birds you like watching at your feeders are no longer coming to the feeders for unknown reasons.

next move?

If you've ever read his posts before you'd know not to take him seriously. I don't think he's all there, but that's why he's an entertaining poster.

You could answer the questions to your own scenario if you had any common sense....

I am just wasting my time trying to have a rational discussion with a total dolt.

Does this mean that you have no next move?

Refusing to answer is by definition and answer in of itself. If you ignor the damage the cat is causing with out dealing with the situation you have defaulted to the post I made somewhere several pages back. You have become complacent and tolerant of the abuse of your rights and property.

Guess I need to reread my post history to figure out when I owned your arse. You have been pissy about me for a while.

It means you have no common sense to connect to. It's impossible to discuss logic with a total dolt.

I just think your posts are entertaining, don't think I've ever really discussed anything with you

Anyone shoot dogs when they see them in the stand? They certainly have ruined plenty of hunts for me.

I could never shoot a dog unless it was to put it out of misery or if it was a danger to me or someone else

I couldn't either. The discussion however was about feral or stray dogs vs pets. While I wouldn't shoot anything that I wasn't hunting for, or in danger of, I understand why some people would.

Some feel it would be logical to kill dogs who are pets,

Failing to recognize your lack of conviction to this issue is the only thing I am guilty of. Shame on me.

Go back to arranging designing and selling shrubberies, and while you are at it dont forget to hug a few before they go.

Clueless. You have no reason to be in this debate. It's far above your understanding. When you grow up, come back.

This thread is more your intellectual type.
