I have a Marlin Model 60 my dad gave me when I turned 13. That was 27 years ago and it is one accurate SOB.
My powpow had a Remington pump that he gave my brother. I don't know the model #, but I'd sure love to have that one. Not that I wanna take anything from my brother, but he doesn't hunt and has 3 daughters and no sons.
I'd like to keep that gun in the hands of people that would use it.

The MKIII, Colt Woodsman, and Beretta Neos all have extremely shitty grip angles. If you're used to a Glock grip angle, this will work for you. But if you're used to a 1911 grip angle, I wouldn't get one.
Browning Buckmark or Ruger 22/45 LITE (comes with threaded muzzle)

I keep a Walther P22 with a laser for shooting critters. It's light for carry and easy to store in the car, etc.
Walther SP 22 for serious plinking. Comes with a laser, red dot scope, and a scope for the picatinny on top.

I saw a nice 1911 one on La Sportsman today. Brand new, never shot for $400.00.

My stock 10/22 and P22 are both at the bottom of Lafourche

Colt Woodmaster, match target model. It shoots incredibly well...
I second this, but I had to correct Wick... It's a Woodsman...
And they're expensive as hell if you can find one. They haven't made these since I was 1 year old, and I'm 36 now....
I lost one in Katrina... And will be my next gun purchase after my Son is born in June.

Ruger 10/22 . Probably still the best gun purchase I've ever made

Marlin 795. Dirt cheap and super accurate out of the box.

I have a Baretta Neos and it shoots great. I also have a Ruger 10/22 and that thing is money!

I'm a fan of the marlin because I like tube magazines. The 10-22 is also a very good choice too.
