My old man is buyin a new boat and asked me help sell his, but Im not 100% he will get what he wants. I am familiar w vehicles & bikes..... But not boats - as far usage/condition.

Dealer offered $3k trade & he said no. Askin $5900 for a 2006 Bass Tracker Pro 175 w 50hp Mercury, 2 Depth Finders, 45 lb thrust Minkota Trolling Motor. Dunno hours, but he fishes alot. Gonna post on LA Sportsman and Craigslist, but before I start tryin... Wanna know a little more about whats reasonable so I dont waste anyones time.

Boats work like cars when trade is usually really low?

He in the ballpark pricewise?

Thanks as always OB, and I will not sell it via this website.

I'd say somewhere right in between there. Probably about $4700-$5000

How well kept up is it? Clean it up & shine it up. Take the cover off & clean the motor. Boat sales for around 14k new.

id list it on those websites. that's how I sold my xpress bay boat. as far as asking price you are at a good starting point.

as far as trade in goes, don't do it. I got offered 15k for my boat unseen and it was way to low. I sold it for 24k. sell it out right, and don't settle. guy who bought mine wanted to give me less and had cash money. I stood my ground and he caved and gave me what I wanted for it. I also pulled the well ill take the power pole, gps and sound system out. he quickly changed his mind.
