They stay locked up in th shop when not in use. If they're in the back of the jeep with the top off, they're cabled to the tie down in the back. I use the locks that came with my pistols to lock the lids down.

We only do day trips so I've never seen a reason to spend the money on one, plus I would worry it might make an honest person dishonest.
