Thinking about buying a sheet online and doing my bow area, helm, footrest, and yeti. Anyone got any tips?

I've heard it's great, but blood will stain it.

All I can offer other than I love the look of it

I have, it has been installed for about 3 years. Install is not horribly difficult. They quoted me about 1500 for them to cut my pattern, prolly spent 500 on sheet material.

Uh oh. That may be a deal breaker.

I know a guy who left mud and blood on sea deck for the entire duck season and one trip to the car wash and it was like new again.

That sounds encouraging. Looks like I can get a sheet big enough for what I need to do for $150. I'll try and remember to post pics when I do it.

I just ordered the sample pack from them. My wife wants seafoam but I want gray. She'll probably win.

Did you use a razor? Router?

You definitely have to router the edge.

Hydroturf is cheaper and easy to install but I don't know if it works as well as the seadek because I've never used it.

I just used a razor, left square edges.

I have a runabout with a pretty big swim platform, seadeck cut the pieces to fit, I installed. Looks great, has held up without any issues and surprisingly easy to clean - and I've had a lot spilled on it.
