Scored 6 Penn reels for cheap at Walmarks.

Was at the Walmarks earlier looking for some boat wax and looked into the locked reel cabinet behind me. They had a couple of Penn Pursuit II's with a price tag of $19. I had the lady open the cabinet and grabbed a 3000 and a 4000. Went to the checkout and when the woman rings them up, they ring up at $9.00 each. I finished checking out, put my shite my truck and went back in.
Went back and had the lady open the cabinet and grabbed the other 2 Pursuits with the tags and had her check the price on a Penn Fierce II 2500LL with a price tag of $40. She price checked it and it was $19. Grabbed the only other one they had and went check out.
So for $36 I got 4 Pursuits that were originally $39.96 apiece and 2 Fierces for $38 that were originally $79.96 apiece.

Hate to say this, but I gotta. Just remember this story when she comes home with a car load of clothes and shoes this weekend.

Thanks, I wanted to hit the Ghetto one near my work for lunch. I'll have to wait till tmrw. I'm going to go to the one near my house tonight.

You must've just been lucky cause while doing a few errands I stopped in at four different WMs and none had those reels on sale. One had some deep water reels on clearance and I even asked one worker that was 6 feet away about those specific reels and she explicitly said they were not on sale. I think some goofball marked yours down. I was only interested in a 3000 and they had one not reduced.

Ha! Scored 2 of the fierceII 2500 at the Hammond Walmart today on lunch. They were $19 a piece. They are the LL version though. They have the double drag feature. Thanks for the heads up.

Ran by 2 stores this morning. I scanned every reel in the place. No deals to be had in Madeira Beach or St Pete.
