I just don't get the reasoning for carrying a revolver over a semi for self defense.

To me the semi is the better weapon.

Reliability and simplicity are where the revolver wins. Small semi autos are difficult to operate for some women.

Now that is appealing assuming the .327 can perform out of a short barrel.

The best advice I can offer is the same advice I was given here on this board. Don't pick a weapon FOR her. Take her to a gun range and let her shoot several different handguns there. Take her to a gun store and let her handle different handguns. Let her choose the weapon she can handle and shoot the best and which she is most comfortable carrying.

Disagree. Anyone having difficult in using a semi-auto have not been shown how to properly.

The only excuse for not being able to operate a semi-auto is the lack of use of one arm.

semi's have a lot of moving parts and can fail. That is especially true when you make them tiny.

Guess I'll be sending my 5'3 116 pound girlfriend to boot camp so she can learn how to clear a stovepipe with someone shooting back at her while she's hiding in the closet.

You can send her to me and I can teach her how to operate it. It's a shame you have failed her so. Haha

My 10 year old can operate my glock 17 it's not that hard.

I dont really know the specifics but if i recall .327 performs better than .38 +p with much less recoil than the .357 in the same platform. The downsides are that .38 lcrs can be found much cheaper than the .327 and ammo is harder to find for the .327. No expert...just have been mulling it around myself.

I carry one in my suit pocket at all times... remove the poly hand grips and put walnut in its place as it will not stick to cloth as you pull. Its a gun that requires practice shooting but its the best CC I can recommend for everyday in the business world

So have you ever "accidentally" pulled it out of your suit pocket if negotiations were not going your way?

I honestly think an air weight is the best self defense pistol there is. I especially like the, for an infrequent shooter who may not be able to operate a semiautomatic when under pressure. A revolver goes boom 100% of the time. Point and shoot.
