What is the best way yall have found to remove these old oil stains? I have two areas on the cement inside the garage that have been there for about a year that I want to remove.

If they are bad you can lighten them with a pressure washer with a zero tip, but you not gonna get them completely gone.

What kind of stains are they?
Nevermind, saw the title. You could try muratic acid, a paste of tide powder with bleach, some other strong household powder paste, or you can get a commercial cleaner. I've even seen someone throw concrete dust over wet concrete to cover stains. Never went back to see how that held up though

Rent a jackhammer, pour fresh concrete.

Oil dry and a short 2x4. Use the 2x4 to rub the oil dry into the oil stain. Used to do this twice a year on a heavy equipment parking area. Not sure how it would work on slick concrete. This had a fine brush finish. It is cheap to try

if it is still oily or oil with a bunch of dirt stuck to it, you can get it up with some solvent like paint thinner and a scrub brush.
if you are talking about black stains from the carbon in the oil, I have never seen anything get that up.

I've always had pretty good success with just dawn diswashing liquid.
Pour it on the oil stain and let it sit. Wash off later.
