got it...I was just trying to see if you hunted in briars or anything like that.

Since you won't be in anything that will really damage them, I would get some basic neoprene waders and since your trip to MO may be cold, plan to layer fleece pants under them if necessary. My latest pair of waders are from Cabelas and have been great. Above all, be sure they fit you with some room to spare, so they don't start leaking at the seams...when they are too tight, they always leak in the crotch. I'll try to find a link to mine and post.

you don't want them real baggy like the old style waders were, but they don't need to be stretched tight either. You really need to find some that fit right even if they cost a little more, as they will last a lot longer.

also, for hunting, get boot foot and not stocking foot...those are for fishing.

Just got a pair of Rogers 2 in 1 breathable waders. They have a zip out liner for warmer weather. They are the same as banded just a tad cheaper. They are made by frogg togg.

I wasn’t sure about not being neoprene but after trying them on they are so comfortable and you can move in them better. I’ll never own another pair besides these.

Also they are 219.99 compared to banded at 350$ I liked the banded waders though. They were very comfortable as well
