Recommend a good fixed blade knife

I'm looking to add a nice fixed blade to my hunting/bug out bag. I'd like it to have a rigid holster/sheath, the ability to clean a deer/hog in a pinch, and under $100.
What ya got?

Nothing better than a buck knife

Anyone have experience with ESEE knives? Good reviews and seem to fit the bill.

The ESEE 6 should fit the requirements nicely. It will be slightly above the $100 budget ($112.95 is the best online price that I could find) but the extra money will be well spent. The sheath is excellent.

Thanks everyone. I was leaning towards this Benchmade, but y'all have me looking at an ESEE now.

For $12 I'll buy one and throw it in the BOB. While we're at it. Got any recs for a cheap flashlight from Amazon.

I have a few cold steel fixed blades. My pocket knives are eye brand, all carbon steel. To me carbon is easier to sharpen and hold the edge longer.

Esee or ontario knife company rat.
I have a sog seal team fixed blade that is pretty nice but id rather a shorter one.

ESEE are good knives, check out TOPS knives, similar and huge variety.

You really need a gut hook?

Need. No. I've cleaned deer with a buck folder before. Started my fixed blade search with Benchmade and found this. Mini grip is my EDC.
I like your ESSE 5 suggestion. Thanks HT.
