Hunted north of Eudora, Arkansas a couple days ago and everything was stale. No new birds to be seen anywhere. Going back in the morning for a few days. Wonder if this cold front got a good push of birds going.

Saw a HUGE flock super high this morning on their way to Pecan Island. Other than that nothing.

I saw more up here near Tunica than I have all season. Lot of high flyers, but had several groups work. They just wouldn't get in them branches though. From 845 to 930 or so, it was pretty cool.

Good many birds in SE OK this morning. It's going to freeze up tonight so there may be a few headed south. I sure hope that happens because I'm going to be in the marsh Thursday and Friday.

So THAT'S where they all went. Hunted a flooded millet field today. Had lots of birds all week and even last night and then this morning they were all gone. One greenhead showed up early but that was it. No shooting nearby and no birds on ponds headed back to OKC. Just a strange hunt. They must've moved out overnight with the front.

Hunted Johnson Bayou area Saturday....seen good numbers and quick 3 man limit no teal. We watched and worked birds after our limit for about an hour to say 830 900. Red Heads, Pintail, Greys, and Widgeon were plentiful

Prairie Thunder Outfitters. 450 a day including lodging. Money well spent when you get on the mallards like we did.
