per Salmon request I'll post these up to get some blood pumping.. I've already got the early spring tick, calling between classes and watching videos..

This is from last season. 2013. Still haven't finished the final edit with the kill shots. Should be done by the end of this spring

2013 season preview

Here is the finished one from 2012 season. Didn't get to film as much.

good stuff man

I need to do a CO hunt.

Can't decide if my next hunt out west will be CO, WY, or SD.

Cant take credit for the editing, my buddy Joe is the tech wiz. Joe and I have a streak of 4 opening weekends with getting a double. Hoping to continue that this year!

I'm stoked for the 2013 vid to be finished
The one segment at 2:35 in the teaser vid with the gopro at the end of the barrel facing Joe was my favorite hunt that year. We had just sat down and I didn't even have my gloves on yet and out of nowhere he came out with some hens at 40 yards. Got some awesome footage that hunt the lighting was perfect.

Nicely done, I'm debating trying to film some hunts this year. Typically I hunt alone and I'm not quite sure what direction to go. Was looking at GoPro but a lot of folks say the images are crummy and the audio wont pick up gobbling.

Our buddy in Ohio took the bow shot.
We never use a tent or blind. All natural. With the bow it's easier to get busted but with the shotgun you just gotta pick the right spot and sit still. No need for tents.

I've been trying to kill with a bow (without pop up blind) for the last 3 years. I've had 2 shots and rushed both of them. This year I'm focusing on roads and a gasline. The thing that sucks is one of those birds would've been my biggest to date had I used the gun. Spurs were well over an inch. It would be a lot easier if we had more than 3 birds on 1700 acres. I'm happy if I just get to work a bird!

This. I will not kill another. I just go out to call them in for the hell of it.
