Hanging a 10.5 lb er about 2:00 am on Toledo Bend and my fishing buddy snagging by the mouth and giving a holler that could raise the dead. Several eagle snagging fish. Sunset watching hundreds of wood ducks falling in all around me. But numeral uno, couple of years ago duck hunting and my hunting partner who is new to the game says look, a single duck. I turn to look and its a snow goose flying low trying to escape a eagle on its tail. Then look behind that eagle and another eagle falls in on the chase. The goose doubles back and the rear eagle and the other almost tie up and scream (whistle) at each other and the goose escapes.

Whistler, BC for four days this past February, during which 78" of snow fell. It was utterly unbelievable. I thought places like that only existed in the imagination. I think about that place at least once a week. I'm counting the days until we go back

Sounds about like mine, they got a freak early march snowstorm and got almost 10' dropped on them in a week

My first evening working offshore, the sun was going down behind a huge purple cloud in the distance with the sky being pinkish orange. As the sun went down to just above the horizon, you could see three waterspouts reaching down to the water with sun behind them. It was amazing and I wish I had a camera.

I don't miss the work, but I did enjoy the sunsets and the millions of stars at night.

Standing at the top of a run at Heavenly mtn, looking out across Lake Tahoe on a blue bird day. The color of the water is awesome.
Any day in the woods... So many memories.
Seeing a sea turtle come ashore in Cancun at night in the moonlight. It was coming to lay it's eggs. I honestly thought it was a body washing ashore when I first saw it.
All the deer, turkeys and hogs that I've seen just outside my front door.

Lost Man Lake Colorado

Huge Gobbler strutting in front of me a 5 yards. It was on a Sunday in Litchfield County, CT and you can't hunt on Sunday there. I just went out with my call.

Sunrise at Mt. Laguna, CA

Windriver Range, Wyoming

Mountain goats above Independence pass Colorado

Alligator crossing road with a slough on both sides. I was set up on a early morning Gobbler.
This guy had his head in the slough on one side and his tail in the water on the other side of the road. Biggest Gator I've ever seen. Tensas Parish.

December Swells at Blacks....San Diego

I was in a sailboat in the middle of the gulf when a whale jumped right behind the boat.

Saw a giant school of bull reds in West Delta. It looked like the water was boiling. We caugjt a couple dozen of them. Used steel leaders and cut the leader at the boat, and released all but a few of them. This happened before federal regulations.

Saw grey whales surfacing off Point Loma, CA.

Lake Solitude at the top of Cascade Canyon in Teton National Park.

The view of the Grand from Solitude might be my favorite. The top of Hurricane Pass looking at the Tetons is pretty amazing as well.

Camping on the West Rim in Zion National Park looking into the red canyons.

Lizard Head Meadows around the Cirque in the Winds.

Planning on getting to Glacier this summer.
