Nothing creeps me out more than peacefully fishing a bank, looking over the side of the boat, and seeing a 6'+ gar staring back at you.

Ever been snorkeling in a Caribbean lagoon and looked to one side to see a 30" Great Barracuda swimming 5 feet away, staring at your shiny diving watch?

That shite will make you exit the water.

I don't wear jewelry while diving, but I love seeing big cudas on dives. They are definitely the creepers of the see. Nothing like spinning around to find one staring at you from a couple feet away. That said, they get darker as their adrenaline increases, so they'll get dark stripes as they start getting frisky and will usually be nearly black by the time they strike.

I took the diving watch off after that and went back out and caught a few glimpses of him cruising. Just seeing him staring at that close a distance caught me off guard, and I nearly walked on water to get back to shore!

Man I sure do hate a damn choupique. Only thing good about that is the name of the area I'm from and the Bayou just south of where I was raised.
Otherwise, I hate them damn things. Think you got a bass...get it up to the boat..and DAMN that thing's got TEETH.

I rather have a choupic on the end of my line then any other fish. If only people knew how good they actually are.

It takes extreme ninja like skills. We just throw out jug lines with either cut perch, crawfish, or frog feet.

Once in a blue moon I'll use a cane pole. That straight up jerk hooks them a lot easier. They have the hardest mouth for a hook to sink into.

Growing up, I was referred to as, The Trashfish Master. Thought seriously about my own show: Trashfish Cavalcade!

Werd up. I love me some shoe daddy's. My ole mans's birds and the bees talk started out like this. "Wine 'em, dine 'em, choupique 'em."

Best day of my life was when he beat my arse for throwing one back. I was 22 at the time. I became a man that day.
