Saw someone mention earlier that they heard about a monster being killed in St Francisville. Here he is...

How was there a video of them finding it at night but the picture is in the day time?

Supposedly the guy shot it inside of city limits behind his dentist office.

Likely found it last night, field dressed, and hung in the cooler for day time pics today

They have a feeder down in that bottom behind the office where you can watch out the window at deer while getting a cavity fixed.

The Sullivan's own a shite load of land running all the way to the river. Lots of good deer out there

They have a damn trail camera video of it in broad arse daylight with other nice normal bucks in the background

If somebody gets a picture of a buck in the daylight anywhere on our land we basically declare war on a 1 mile radius around said camera

Pretty good write up on it I think on La Bowhunter FB page

Deer was a main frame 10 last year. Got hit by a car during last season and they thought it may have been killed. Put on 80 inches and all that junk this year likely from the injury from the car.

The LaSportsman article says that he was also shot the previous year but not fatally.

Impressive part is 80" growth in a year.

We had one killed on our place that put on 40 ( confirmed with both sheds from previous year) and I thought that was on the high end. I'm gonna start shooting every buck with potential in the leg and hope he grows into a freak the next year

If I'm the one checking that camera I'm chewing up and swallowing the sd card. No way I'm sharing that tidbit of info.

And he said Nate's Buck Bait was like crack cocaine to the deer. "They wanted that 10:1," Sullivan said. "It's unbelievable how fast they ate it."

From the article. Nate was my cousin's husband who died last year. She posted in a thread on here a while back about Nate's Buck Bait. Good to see it's catching on. Nate would be really proud as he never got the chance to see his product go on sale to the public.
