All I did was click on the eprice or more info tab... in the comments I said I was in Louisiana and would be willing to drive if the price was right. But I needed price out the door before I entertained it.

Probably within 30 min I had replies with either a price or some questions about color etc. I replied with my zip to get tax etc and then they sent me invoices with the break down.

My guy here, was close enough not to frick with dallas. Sterling McCall in Houston was over 2k higher than both mcdavid in dallas and the local joint to start. No use I even get into that. I don't see them beating it by enough to drive to Houston.

That's exactly how I worded it,,out the door price. That way if I set foot in the dealership and there's some fee I don't agree with, as long as the out the door price is the same he quoted me, I'm good with it.

I used cargurus.com to search dealerships with the trim levels I wanted. I made a list of about 10 dealerships and emailed them about the specific vehicle I was interested in.

Every dealer that responded to my email immediately came off $500 when I replied to their out the door price. However, Everett beat the closest competitor by 3K so I didn't ask for anything. I knew it was a great price.

Gotta search outside of Louisiana xman, Dallas or Houston have more dealerships in the city than Louisiana has in the entire state.
20 Toyota dealerships in Dallas, I have purchased from 2 of them.

Ive always got them to throw in extended warranties, weather-tech mats and bedliners in my trucks. U could always get them to add a matching purse for u and ur acura tho!!! jk. Id go for warranty for sure.

Make sure it's got one of the rubber mats in the back trunk. Very useful and cheap for them.

Good mats are really important. (I wouldn't put weathertechs in an acura, they're more utilitarian than nice)

You could push for free oil changes.

In my opinion, extended warranties are a waste. Of course, if you can it given to you, no loss.

They plan to make more $s off of you with extended warranty, paint protection and financing.

My wife had an mdx for several years, and the local dealer seemed to treat her right in the service dept. They pissed me off on the front end sale, so I've never went back.

I have bought vehicles in Breaux Bridge, Beaumont, San Antonio, Austin and Texas City all off the internet. My favorite was my wife's Expedition in San Antonio. I got an Eddie Bauer edition for over $2,000 cheaper than XLT's we're going for in Louisiana. With a little haggling of course.
