Someone started a rumor this deer was killed locally w/ Xbow.

Rumor debunked, it's and Indiana deer

Not sure when it was killed but if you are familiar with "Rabbit" then I was told it was his grandson. Ive only heard this story from one person but he said it was verified by two others that work where this was killed.

pump the brakes. the dude is an idiot and the same shite would have happened with a compound bow or a rifle.
personally i like the added difficulty of shooting a compound bow over a crossbow but lets be honest, if you're using a compound bow you're using a lot of modern technology that makes archery pretty easy.
i'll admit though, if you only shoot traditional bows, hate all you want on the crossbows and compounds. you would have the high ground there.

That area has some awesome deer, especially since its been bow only forever.
I wish i still had a pic of the 14 pt typical that was confiscated from a night hunter in the area about 20 years ago, it was a hell of a deer.
