Had a riding buddy of mine who had some well-to-do kin back in W. Virginia. ( I know...go figure)
Every year his cousins would head down to some Amish owned deer "hunting" ranch to kill monster non-typicals. This was somewhere in the vicinity of the Ohio/Pennsylvania border.
Anyhow, this "awesome deer hunt" consisted of the "hunters" grabbing a big breakfast cooked up by the womenfolk, whereafter they would all get on golf carts and ride out to the operation. Once inside the fences they would head down roads cut through fields until they saw one of the giants feeding.
At this point the "guide" would ask him if thats the one he wanted, and if so, would tell the hunter to go ahead and pop him.
All the while sitting there in a golf cart, dressed in the latest camo,taking aim at the monster buck feeding like cattle 50 yards from them.
Not saying thats how this one might have been killed but it would'nt surprise me one bit.

Add some booze in there and that sounds like a pretty good time.

There's no reason to black out the license ate, some people just like to act like "they're in the know". I mean come on, you drive around with it showing to the world everyday. License plate numbers are not classified info in any way.
