I must disagree. The episode where he hunted on the Somalia/Kenya border was pretty intense. They kept rolling up on shady characters with AKs and stink eyes.

but nothing hangs with the old bill dance shows from the 70s..

when the sun came up this morning, I took the time to watch it rise, I thought how small and unimportant all my troubles seemed to be... .today is mine.. today is mine....

He lived a block away from my best friend growing up. His son was a huge dope-headed douche. Bill whipped his arse with a fishing rod on several occasions. Bill's good people.

I do like Jim Shockey. I can watch his shows. I have no interest in watching him kill all of the exotic animals in dangerous locations.

Greg Heister with Seasons On The Fly is good. He may be a little up tight but is well spoken. Seems like he would know how to enjoy a glass of good bourbon.

Bill Winke on his online show is pretty good. The online show is starting to get dominated by promotions but I still watch it. Mostly because there are no commercial breaks and the show has regular people hunting on your average farm.

What's the OB's take on the Avian X crew? Fred Zink I think is the mastermind. They seem legit. Some of them duck shoots they film I have to admit rustle some jimmies.

Shaw Grigsby's voice aggravates the hell out of me. I can't stand 99% of the hunting shows because they ride up and shoot 200 inchers all day.

I do like Bill Dance and the show a few years back called Bayou Bucks.

Favorite gun guy by far is Larry Vickers on Tac TV. Dude legitimately reviews stuff. He is sponsored by Glock, and I saw him bitching about the new G17 stuff yesterday. When he endorses something, it is a good piece of equipment. When he says it is shite, it is shite. Helped me make the decision to buy a PPQ based off of his reviews and I couldn't be happier

I like Avian X, and think its one of the better duck hunting shows out there. I also like that they will hunt public some and do a lot of freelance hunting. Like with any show though, it's really just a 20 minute advertisement for their products.
