why is it that all of a sudden there is a flood of Yeti knock off stuff? Where has it been all this time? Yeti have a patent that run out or something?

YETI saw sales dip and decided to attack a different market of people. All these knockoffs are really YETI sub companies

AKA smart and poor people

After reading the praises hear about the Ozark Trail tumblers I bought a 20oz. I'm not impressed with its ability to keep ice, but it does seem to keep my drink cooler than a Tervis.

But it was cheaper than a Tervis and my wife won't break it when she drops it.

Wal-mart hates Yeti apparently. Someone slept with someone's wife or something.....

I have been satisfied with the Ozark Trail compared to the wifes Yeti, My dad picked up a two pack of the 30oz Members Mark from Sam's the other day and gave me one of them. I haven't used it yet, but first impression was the lid was cheap / flimsy compared to the other brands - including Ozark Trail.

Yeti actually has a lawsuit out against Wal Marks right now on the cups.

I compared the Members Mark directly to the YETI top of the same size tumbler.

The Tumblers are virtually identical and more importantly in performance. The tops between the 2 are interchangeable and the Members Mark top has a way to shut the drink hole.

For MM's costing 10 bucks a piece and the Yeti costing 50 bucks, the choice is obvious.

1/4 the price of the wm Ozark chest
$50

Had Wal-Mart done Sub $125 pricing...not $195...they would have done better...Might as well get an Rtic

How stupid are they? Why waste all that money they've been printing on a lawsuit, especially against a juggernaut like Wal Mart?

It does seem kinda dumb. I mean hell, they can't sue everybody out of business. Save up for when the sales slow down to a trickle instead of spending $$ on worthless attorneys

Along with RTIC are lawsuits against Beavertail Coolers, a manufacturing company in China (probably the one that "the go" of the soft side cooler specs) and a restaurant supply company (not sure how they tie in.)

Pep im with you on the igloo copy. Walmart whiffed by not making the cooler look like a Yeti, and only having a $5 price difference with the RTIC 65.

RTIC came out of the gate swinging because the coolers and cups were Yeti copies at half the price with the same performance.

You cant copy an Igloo and charge $200 for it.

I agree completely, I just don't know why they changed the lid from the Ozarks. Or is the 30oz Ozark the same as the 30 oz MM lid? I've only seen the 20 oz Ozarks. The MM lid seems like it has potential to break from use of the slide.

I'll pay extra to not have the closing lid feature. I despise gadgets the add to the cleaning or trap goo
