Opinion on lift and all terrain tires on 2WD truck

I have a 2001 Tundra and I really like the aggressive look of lifted trucks. I'm not talking like a 6 in lift and huge mud tires, but what do y'all think about getting like a 2.5/3 inch lift plus more aggressive looking tires?

Haha, it's a waste of money. Been there done that.

If you wanna do it, do it. I don't modify vehicles for looks because that would be pointless. If you feel like dealing with the added wear and tear and decreased gas mileage, go for it

Leveling kit and appropriately sized all terrains are acceptable. Anything past that I will be forced to make fun of you... A LOT....

I have the level kit for the tundra and love it. Will be putting on ATs. Suck it king ranch.

This is more along the lines of what I was talking about

On one hand I feel that if a person wants to spend their money on something, who am I to tell them not to. I have relatives in east Texas who all drive lifted 4x2 parking lot princesses
On the other hand I consider myself to be a practical person. If you don't have a use for something then why in the hell would you spend money on such frickery

If you lift your truck for the look of it, it's the same as having a salt life sticker. I don't even think most 4wd lifted trucks need their 35" tires. I drove my truck with 33's through anything while I was in college. No lift at all (did shave some wheel well plastic due to rubbing at extreme turn radius).

Last half ton I had I did that. I always wanted to put a leveling kit and squeeze 35s on it because when the water was up it would come in my doors on the way to the lake. Never got around to it thoughh

You're only a 4x4 sticker away from a nice truck.

did it on my Tacoma and i liked it. Your year Tundra is about the same size as my 07 Tacoma i had.

After college, I bought a Z71. Honestly the sticker was the most 4wd that truck ever saw. Lease I hunted at went to 4 wheelers and golf carts. Plus I wasn't going as much. Realized by the next vehicle I didn't need it. I wish more people would realize that so the cost would go down when I do need to buy one.

Do it. Saw a F0 2x leveled this morning, much better than nose-down rake imo.
