Several companies make 3x prism scopes. Burris and Vortex come to mind.

I just brought my new vortex spitfire 3x to the range it seems great. The glass is very good for the price. I found it for $200. Depends on what type of reticle you like.

Bought a lightened bolt carrier today on a whim. What configuration would it it work best in, a 16" or 18" build?

Yeah I F'ud that up. Edited it. Picked up the can today. Never though I would get a dedicated 556 can but When I bought my first 2 cans (Sparrow and AAC 762SD) I thought that would be all I would need. The SOCOM is #11 and looking to get a Rugged Obsidian now. These things are like crack.

Hypothetically speaking of course, if someone were to build a lower for their gun and every so often, the gun double fires on a trigger pull, how would you go about fixing it? Would an new trigger system fix the issue?

It's most likely the disconnector if I had to guess.

Test the dis-connector. Pull the trigger and hold the trigger down while the hammer is "up" in the firing position. While holding the trigger down reset the hammer and it should "click" as the disconnector grabs it. With the trigger still pulled, push and pull and wiggle the hammer to see if you can get the disconnector to release the hammer. Let go of the trigger and the whole thing should click again as the trigger resets.

Could be something as simple as the disconnector spring being installed backwards.

I'm very interested to hear a review on this thing. I was thinking hard about getting one back at the start of the year, but decided I didn't want to wait.

Make sure the fat end of the tapered disconnector spring is pointing down and the thinner side touches the disconnector. Also, if your disconnector spring is not tapered, then uninstall the bolt catch and check that spring.

Hammer spring was backwards. Hope that fixes the issue.

Changed my 300BO build up. I added an MVB collapsible stock. You can use a mil spec BCG with this one. Also can operate one handed.
