So, why not just go with the Alphas now and IF the KMR ever come in, swap them out and sell the Alphas?
I see it as win-win. Best case, you realize the difference is going to be much less than your screwing around with optics and mounts, and worst case, you'll "know" the Alphas are too heavy.
The Alphas are just a touch heavier, but they are noted as being a little more durable, too.

Ok what about this PSA 16" upper for 279? How can I tell if its a FN barrel? I've read some of PSA barrels are made by Wilson too.

Got the last parts for mine today........just gonna drop it off by the gun smith and let them tighten the barrel nut and castle nut.
Gave everything a loose fit today. I do need a gas tube and some sights and I'll be done for now.
I don't have a vice and don't wanna buy one right now.
