That's what I figured you were talking about. In order to put a freefloat handguard on you would most likely have to switch out the gas block to a low profile gas block.

i figured as much, and instead of doing that and changing the flat top rail gas block, i could just put on a 2 piece quad rail and be good to go correct.

novice, not looking at anything competition style. just want to put some down the range, and drop hogs or coyotes from time to time

Yes something like this should be what you are looking for. Make sure that you do have a carbine length rail. I'm guessing you do

Some weekend porn, new foregrip for the 300blk came in from backorder today. Originally had this set up like tiddles' with the BAR rail to cover a can, but decided to keep the muzzle outside of my foregrip, so I can still shoot it in the event that I have the can on another rifle. The weight difference alone has me already liking it.

None available online that I see, try Jim's. They had one in the case for a long time, may still be there.

There needs to be a OD Board AR Build off, budget of $1500 or less. All major components listed with a description, price and a link to the site Have a vote for the best set up that has the best deals on the comps, in case of a tie then the lowest total cost.

Naa, too many people would vote for bejeweled BCGs.

And burgeman would win the lightweight build going away
