Anyone have experience with the Saker 7.62? I'm an AAC man, but I can get a ridiculous deal on Silencerco

doesn't silncerco have adapters so their cans can run on AAC muzzle devices? that would be sweet

They do but I think they are like another $200 or maybe you can order them with the suppressor for no additional cost

$295 51t MAAD mount

You get the MAAD mount of your choice with the Saker purchase. I know with Silencershop, you do. I'd assume it's the same across vendors. And they do have the 51T MAAD.

I'm thinking about biting the bullet on an Omega.

Any suggestions for best place in Baton Rouge to have Suppressors from Silencer Shop transferred?

Anyone here shoot or own a BCM 12.5 Kino configuration? Looking into maybe building one when I decide to jump into my next AR

Or should I go 11.5" or even shorter at 10.5"

As a SBR in 556 I'm debating between 11.5 and 12.5

Thoughts?

So aggravated today. Thought I would be able to go pick up a stripped lower at the gun shop down the road from me. I am a Louisiana resident working in Texas. Figured it would be no problem, until I leanred that the stripped lower is considered a hand gun. I won't be back in LA for a few months and don't know what to do.

Anyone got any ideas on what to do? I could get one shipped to LA and go one night after work and get it I guess. Just don't have time as I'm working 7 days a week.

my brother runs a BCM 11.5 DI. You get a lot of gas in the face (when suppressed)
My cousin built a 11.5 using an Adam's piston Kit and it rocks
I run a 12" LMT piston and it rocks.
i have a 10.5" DI that i don't run the suppressor on because it wouldn't rock.

the piston makes it heavier obviously, but if you are hanging a can off the end anyways then negating the gas blow back supersedes the marginal weight difference.

What's the issue with a 10.5" suppressed. Mine is fine. That being said, all of the weapons I run suppressed tend to have more gas in the face.

Freedommunition 147gr 300 blk for about .50/rd

This is reman stuff. And you get a free ship code as a first time buyer.

no ISSUE, just stating that if you are going to be shooting suppressed frequently, then you can expect an annoying amount of gas in your face (my opinion) and that running a piston will remedy that issue

ETA: you could always go with a DI setup and if you dislike, swap it for an Adam's conversion, so long as your hand guard will work with it

Oh there's gas. Definitely gas. I figured it was I losing battle unless I went piston. Haven't hopped the fence on that though.

I shot 250 rounds of 147gr freedom munitions. It was new stuff. No hiccups. I think Carson got the 115gr. Also put 250 rounds of reman 45 cap down range. Also no hiccups.
