Gents. I am in the market for a orbital sander and saw this one on amazon that comes with a sheet palm sander.

I will be needing this tool for stripping older furniture as well as sanding for new projects.

I have multiple porter cable tools that I really like.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Cheers

It has 4.5 stars under reviews, so it should be fine. I have a Dewalt that has been working great and long lasting. Before our twins came along, my wife and I built / refurbished furniture, so we used it a lot. But there's really not much to a sander if you think about it.

I have a dewalt that was a free gift with something I bought from them a very long time ago. It gets used a lot. Mine takes the round sheets with dust collection.

Festool sander is my favorite. Sands much faster than just a normal orbital

Those 1/4 sheet sanders suck. No matter how made them. The spring clips that hold the paper get weak fast. Don't waste your money buying one.

I'm sure it's fine. Honestly cheaper ones work just as good.

This. I've been using an old B&D Mouse sander for years. Can't kill the thing. My wife has talked about getting an orbital or just something new, but as long as this one still runs, it is cheap to buy the packs of paper and keep feeding it.

Damn, you don't realize what your missing. I have a mouse sander i only use for tight corners. Theres no comparison between a random orbit sander and a mouse.
