I was thinking I have the gear, but have never fished the beaches out of the kayak. We could get a crew together and do a fun tournament this summer using kayaks. I know Dave is in. Thoughts?

You'd need a mother ship for all the beaches I fish. Also, it's hot as frick in a boat, much less a kayak. It would definitely be a good time if you got into those thick beach trout though.

I'll be in Fort Morgan in a few weeks. Don't have a yak, you think I'd have luck waist deep?

Go to the end of the road and fish behind the fort for trout and reds.

You can catch a variety of fish from the beach on the gulf side too. I have caught flounder, shark, huge rays, ladyfish, etc.

10-4. Im not bringing anything over there. I'm sure there's a tackle shop type place around there. I'll round up a few things and try and get on em while I'm there.
