I've seen it higher. Need to go to MiL's to see how far into the pasture the river is.

they are saying that it will not get that high
If it's raining up there like it is here, it may. We've had close to 3" already today in Ellick.

4.02" in shreveport so far... And the larger problem is that Texoma is 9' above pool and many reservoirs in Ark are way above pool as well that eventually drain into the red. They've been waiting on the Pools 5 thru 1 to start falling but can only hold the water so long.

As you can see, the Shreve/Bossier area has gotten pummeled today.

Damn.

I am off of Shed/Airline right now.

It is still raining but the sky looks to be clearing up a little to the Northwest.

Hopefully it will die down around 4:30 and they can re-open the ramps.

I would like to apologize to everyone in the Gulf South. I decided to start building a house this spring and it has apparently affected the global weather pattern.

I was at the parking lot next to the Stoner boat launch yesterday watching these idiots go down right on the edge of the bank taking pictures. Guess they don't realize how dangerous that is. With the current that swift, if the ground was to give away, they will not get out of the river alive.

Not to mention that it's a hot spot for snakes.
