Nice rig! Now you ain't lived til you get into some old rusty barb wire or a yellow jacket/hornet nest with that bush hog. And it will happen! Been there, done that, too!

Yep, and bumblebees, yellow jackets, and hornets are considerable faster than a John Deere 5065E. (or an old M-F 50, too!)

They didn't deliver it until the Friday after I came to work
I got the cut the whole place when I get back in. Hopefully it'll dry up enough to get some work in

Not this time. Hell I stepped out the door about 4:30 & the wind was howling, loaded up all my shite before checking the radar Text his old arse & he had to go put his boat back under the shed in this nasty weather. Haven't heard back from him yet

Nice Rig!!

Word of advice, take that bushhog apart and get the deck galvanized. Their decks are made with stamped gauge material steel that doesn't last for shite. Here's what my 286 looked like after less than 7 years. Had it sandblasted and welded a new 1/4" deck on top. Currently getting dipped now, will wear out the tractor before this deck rusts out!

Before

New Deck
