This may not be OB material, but I thought I'd ask. My dad used a certain phrase when he said 'hurry up' and it was the equivalent of English 'get the lead out' and another for 'get your arse in gear.'
Anybody?

Lil spicy speaks engish and mixes in some French words in sometimes, like I do. Im disgusted.. She got her report card back from pre k and she got a's in everything except for the "e" (needs effort) in "using correct grammer and pronunciation" because she mixes in Cajun words she knows with English and her teacher doesn't know WTF shes saying....

I want to write a note back and just say GFY

Sounds to me you need to have a talk with your daughter.....not the teacher. You can't expect someone that doesn't know Cajun French to learn it just because your kid intersperses English with the occasional French.

How bout gfy....my kid is smart as hell. Maybe they shouldn't cater to the minorities and teach french in school instead of stupid arse spanish.

Ill have a talk with my little bilingual "tard" thanks for the advice!

I never saw anyone refer to a child as a tard before.

I don't know why it would upset you so. If those little "minority" kids brought their language or ebonics to school and the teacher was giving As for that I am sure everyone would be fine with it.
