I love my 17HMR. $200 rifle that shoots sub MOA with factory loads. It will fk a squirrel's world up Looks like he swallowed an M-80 when you hit one with it.

I have a marlin. Shot a coyote at 130 yards rt behind the shoulder with Federal hollow points. He ran about 10 yards. Looked like I shot him with a 270

I bought the Ruger because the magazine fits flush. I don't think you can find any that aren't tack drivers regardless of manufacture.

Now thanks for the reminder I need to get my 1 year old Marlin .17 to the shop....it puts a dimple on the round but does not hit it hard enough to fire the round

Mine is a cheap old Marlin. My uncle messes with guns a lot and did a trigger job on it and we free floated the barrel. Pretty fun to play around with

Did they ever work out the WSM kinks? I remember it being hit or miss on the rifles.
