How big would a speck have to be for you to mount it? I caught a 25" speck today, weighing 5+ lbs (no scale). Had a 13.5" girth. My personal best by far & was thinkin of getting a replica done.

Who cares about anyone else? You like it, good story behind it, etc., mount him!

We have a 120# doe mounted at the camp, strictly due to the story behind it and the time that was had. Will always be a reminder of that day

I can't find any pics of mount right now, but she came out purdy. Anyways, we picked up these bitches from Illusions....

Just kidding. It was well into rifle season and me and my buddy were burnt out on sitting food plots. We wanted to go back to bow killin'. We had been at the camp for over a week straight with no blood...so he grabbed his bow and I grabbed the video camera and we hit a trail to a food plot. No seats or nothing, we squatted on the ground, faces painted, and ready. Had about three does come over my shoulder down a ridge, at about 15 yards. He saw me freeze, and kept mouthing "What the f*ck is it??" I had to freeze, and when they came out front he drew. Biggest doe spotted him and started stomping. That was her arse...Whack!

Was one of those long stretches of the season with no results, and when we changed our plan, drank beer, and filmed an up close bow kill at the last minute....we mounted her bitch arse. The End.

My first 6 lb fish will be mounted. I'm not mounting anything less unless it is real close to 6.
