Truth be told these same guys on here who are so jealous of these guys don't even know they probably make 3x as much as these guys working 1/2 as hard.

You may have some good points, but this makes you sound really fricking annoying.

Now you know how a majority of this board feels about your posts. Learn from this, Barf. You can do it.

You act like you have something better going on. This place battles bouts of decent conversation by channeling it's inner OT lounge. Say something negative about sparkle boat tournaments or CCA banquets and everyone's pussy starts getting sore. Then you have dickhead up there saying everyone is jealous of pro bass fisherman but he's too fricking stupid to even use the word "jealous" correctly.

The inconvenient truth is tournament bass boats that look like they have been painted with a 10 year old girl's fingernail polish annoy the shite out a lot of people. It is in no way related to anyone being envious. Are they all assholes? No, that would be a ridiculous thing to say. Should someone change their plans or move spots just because another guy is fishing for his truck payment? No, that's equally ridiculous.

This is all well and good and a pretty widely held opinion but there's a way to say it without sounding like an elitist prick.

people all over the world watch KVD sack 25lb bags on ESPN that starts people booking there trips for the next few years. That's why you will see TB take a steady decline the next few years just like Gunnersville, Falcon, Seminole, etc. Word gets out and posted all over the internet how good the fishing is and people flock to it for the next few years.

This sounds like a much bigger reason for locals to hold a grudge against the pros.

Haha, it's hilarious to me that the guys arguing itt against the elites like Ike act like they see these jerks on the water every day and they keep cutting them off. How many times have you honestly been fishing and had any elite cut you off and be a jerk? On average they might fish "your" lake every couple years max. Quit acting like you see these guys jumping in front of you every weekend.

First off, I'm speaking as all tournament/pros as a whole whether it be guys in the fishers of men or the bass masters. They are all together as a collective as far as I'm concerned, they all hold the same mentality on the water. They are fishing for prizes so courtesy goes out the window with the vast majority of them.

As I've mentioned on here before I've had a very front row view of both the elites and FLWs and 90% of those guys are working their butts off to scratch out a living while being away from their families for weeks. Truth be told these same guys on here who are so jealous of these guys don't even know they probably make 3x as much as these guys working 1/2 as hard. It's a tough way to make a living and guys who can't leave them alone for a few days make it that much harder.

Not jealous or envious, tournament fishing makes fishing stressful and I enjoy fishing for sport so I don't tournament fish. I fish to get away from work not to make it feel like work. They chose to make a living out of it, honestly it doesn't matter to me if they are living in poverty or rich as shite from it. Don't understand where you're getting the jealous/envious vibe from, but that's not what people here are putting forward at all.
