Not sure if posted , But you have to try and read this:
quote:

“I was just minding my own business, you know what I’m saying, wasn’t doing no drugs or nothing like that. I had a gun on me, yeah, that I’m a convicted felon, and the situation, they way the situation happened, I mean, I’m not going ... either way it goes I’m over with. That could have been avoided right there, but that was just the heat of the moment,” Hust, 29, said, according to The Advertiser. “He put his hand on me, when he went to seeing what I had on me, and I mean that was my reaction, and I mean, it wasn’t the best, but either way it goes, I’m over with ... get caught with a gun, 15 to 20 years ... anyway it goes that’s the rest of my life in prison.

Who says you can't judge a book by its cover.....

Not really sure what he is trying to say but he's was worried about going to prison because he had a gun so he shoots the LDWF agent and is now looking at the death penalty (I presume he is at least).

good choice.

No, not the death penalty, but it will be the rest of his life in jail.

Last I heard, the Agent still didn't have feeling in his lower extremities, and that was about 2 weeks after the shooting.

Looks like death only if officer dies...

Am I understanding correctly? This guy is saying he had no choice but to try to kill this agent because he was about to get a felon in possession of a gun charge? No remorse or anything? So trying to kill these agents was your only way out?
