If you get a sudden hard rain on the city park side of town, hit the current coming through that bridge.

One time while kayaking along sorority row, no pole with me though, I got past the fraternity houses, right around where the crew team launches and I saw these cattail islands that were about 5-10 yards from shore where bass were thrashing around. Spring 2009 I think. Watched for about 10 minutes but got bored and left.

ill try that out when i go out for the first time

That stretch of bank across from sorority row along the bike trail used to be pretty good. But what they should do is dump the spoil along the shore line and create some high dollar real estate to defray some of the cost.

me and tclayboy used to bass fish a bunch. The big lake is not bad, and neither is the small one behind the cow barn.

I used to walk around and bank fish back in the early 90's when I was there. I wouls sometimes catch decent bass few and far between.

Caught one that went between 5 and 6 pounds one evening right at dark on a black H&H Spinnerbait.

I've caught fish out of them when I was there a few years ago. They definitely have bass in there.

Yeah, guy I work with swears he catches plenty, just nothing too big. Maybe I'll check it out soon, yearlings are better than nothing.
