I'm looking for recommendations on what kind I should get? I mainly Squirrel hunt but I'd like to have something that could be used to Duck hunt also.

$1000 Max. I'd love to have Beneilli but I was leaning towards an 870 or Stoeger.

There are better options.

Franchi, remington, winchester all have sub $1000 waterfowl guns.

I'd get a franchi over a stoeger.

A300 outlander from Beretta. Should run you under $800 new or used from $500-$650. Shoots 3" and comes in black or camo patterns

Second the outlander . Much better gun then the stoeger 3500. Hunted with one all season , no issues whatsoever .

What you need is a black synthetic slightly used Franchi I-12 which is a 3 in inertia gun like the Benelli M2, with a case and all the chokes I would say you could get that gun for prob 550.00

Winchester Super X3 is right at $1k. Look for their rebates. I got my tax back which was $70.

A black one should be just under $1k and camo just over $1k. Go pick them up and see what feels right. I liked the Franchi Affinity, but the trigger pull was a little too long.
