Mrs AYC and I are so deep into our flavored popcorn production. We experimented big time this year and I think with some tweaks, we can produce a killer Cajun flavor for next year. Right now its best described as a spicy (cayenne) bacon caramel.

Best of the night is toasted pecans + butter pecan cake mix in the caramel.

If I can figure out how to get the bacon flavor without the over burning/smoke flavor, I'll nail the Cajun. Its almost like I need a bacon extract, which I'll experiment with after we get back from Holiday travel. We'll probably be selling it next year. If we have a *cough* *cough* OB Christmas gathering, I'd bring some.

Over reaction much huh?

I don't over react, jimbeam. Check any of my previous posts to confirm.

B&B has a propensity for being an arse a great deal of the time. Actually, most of the time. However, this time he took a shot at a nine year old who happens to be my son and it didn't sit well with me. Be it in jest or not. And, it Probably would not sit well with most parents on this board.

So, to recap, no over reaction on my end. Actually, it was well thought out and I meant what I said.

For what it's worth, I enjoy your posts and wish you all the best. Especially, when you are hunting specks.

Nah, they're good. You can get some mushy ones but I've enjoyed it. It does depend on the water it comes from though.

i was thinking it was a geographic issue as well.

fresh from northern stream=good
frozen/farm at southern restaurant or grocery store=probably pretty bad

me and some friends went chrome chasin last weekend. i'm sure this is tiny compared to what y'all have up there but it's huge for such a small stream.

Rainbow don't thrive in warmer water, they do much better in cold, well aerated water around 55 degrees or lower. They can live in water up to 70 or so but quality trout do better in cold. It's definitely geographical and also has to do with the cleanliness of the water.

That's a nice trout you have there.

It seems he simply referenced what the squirrels were doing.

The hat says "big rack", that phrase is funny to any guy that has ever seen a pair of tits.

Calm down dong, bb meant no ill will towards the little dong

The squirrel comment was funny and I did mistake his comment about the hat as an insult. My bad.

I'll leave it at that.
