Deer sausage, deer burgers and home made bread pudding with bourbon sauce for desert. First attempt.

Mrs4lsu2 and her sister went across the lake shopping today and I had rugrat duty along with our two dogs and the SIL's three dogs. They brought home a lasagna from Cucina Italiana. Junior and I located a damn fine batch of Mich Ultras earlier when we took a trip to the store to get him a milkshake.

Bacon wrapped chicken breast in the infrared cooker along with roasted cauliflower.
Proud moment this evening, little dong 2 bagged his first squirrel. Two to be exact. One still had an acorn in his mouth which amused little dong to no end. Best part, while we were leaving the woods he said, "Poppa, thanks for taking me hunting this evening. I really appreciate it." That is what it's all about. Well, that. and parlaying it into some voodoo poonanny from Mrs. Dong for being such a great Dad.

Left over prime rib ans sensation salad from the whole damn family coming over last night. At least no one took leftovers home with them. Gatorade since I had way too much makers last night.
At least I scored a Yeti tumbler last night
and I got to see my grandmother spend one more holiday with my daughter. Not too often you get to have four generations in your house.

Pork loin wrapped in bacon. Stuffed with boudin. (Leftovers from the debacle that was the saints fooseball game).
Congrats to lil dong. Always nice to see the young ones having a good time in the outdoors. Don't have any mini me's yet to pass that on to but look forward to those days. If it means as much to them as it did when my dad/uncles/grandpa/anypoorsapi couldtrickintotakingme did to me then I know it will be some of the best times of their lives
