Jean Lafitte Charters

Always done us right on the company trip. All captains are top notch, and the camp is really nice.

Kory Matherne or Gage Vincent or best in that area. Jean Lafitte is ok but he is moody. Kory and Gage have fun the entire time and know their stuff.

I've always used Ripps Charters.
Usually limit out on reds.

Capt. EJ with Jean Lafitte Charters is one of the best in the state, not Lafitte. We have always spanked the trout and reds, and he is a top notch bass fisherman as well. First class equipment, and first class accomodations, and his price is right. Be careful about who you choose. Most guides in Lafitte are good, but only do it part time.

I have personally fished with Jean Lafitte Fishing Charters several times. I have had nothing but great experiences and we always load the boat. They also now offer Lodging which I hear is phenomenal!

I stay up-to-date on the fishing in Lafitte through Jean Lafitte fishing Charters via their website with their Daily Reports. www.jeanlafittecharters.com

I guess the reports show the proof is in the pudding.

Hope that helps!

Well gentlemen after posting my opinion and opinions of others about guides in Lafitte I had a threatening message on my fb account from a member of TD. In all honesty I did not intend to tarnish one persons reputation as a guide and lively hood on the water but it was just an opinion of myself and several people that have fished w/ guides in Lafitte. Obviously he is butthurt over my opinion but sending personal messages about whipping my arse over a forum on TD is a bit too far. It is called criticism, and when you run a business that is open to the public you should expect positive and negative feedback. Saying that there is some guides that are better than others does not neccessarily mean your guide is bad it just means other guides are doing very well and have a good time doing it. I am 35 years old and I def do not need a childish threat from a person that cannot take feedback from the public. If you dont want to hear opinions then get out of the business where opinions matter.
