It happens.

It could be a multitude of issues. The thing is all of them should admit to building a lemon once in a while and just give you a new vehicle.

Instead, a rare issue gets blown up on the 'net.

I really try to follow stuff like this close.

Lots of people ask me for car/truck advice so I try to give them good info w/o much brand bais.

I have had good and bud luck w/ just about all of 'em.

I try to keep in mind that things change in the car bidness.

Except Range Rover.

No shite. Range rovers spend more time in the shop Than on the road.

Should they have given me a new vehicle? Maybe. The only issue with that is the Ford Rep saying that the new one would most likely have the same issue. I put over 30k miles a year on my vehicles and just can't have a vehicle that is going to be a problem. I had an '09 Duramax when I bought the Ford and it never gave me any problems. It had over 90k miles on it when I got rid of it and is the reason I traded the Ford in on another Duramax instead of fighting an issue that may or may not have been resolved by Ford.

Don't blame you a bit.

The rep should have worked harder, IMHO.
Can't belive he said that since it is such a rare thing anyway.

Duramax/Allison is very tough to beat.

Didn't even watch the video but when every single other video posted by that user is sucking GMs dick, I call bullshite. Try to find some unbiased videos or I can start posting some of the thousands of videos of powerstrokes embarrassing duramaxs. Proof requires facts and all.

Get one of each truck and take the bed off.

Weld on a big rig 5th wheel

Hook them up to a low boy with an M1 tank on it.

Get on a long hilly bumpy road and drive the dog frick out of them until they explode.

That's the only real way to find out IMO.

I like your way of thinking. Currently trying to secure funds for the first M1. Donations accepted.

This pissing match will go on forever,

I guess a 51' dump trailer full of rocks would work just as well. Weight is weight

A tank would look wayyyyyyy cooler though.
