Scott's weed and feed failed me last year. I'm trying out this Bayer 3-in-1 Weed & Feed. I put out 2 bags this past weekend. This rain should finish the job for me. I'll report results once the lawn turns green (already had a lot of weeds sprouting).

Anyone else used this product?

I usually kill the weeds, then after a couple weeks I feed my desirable grass.

When do you do this? Any recommendations for the two separate applications?

I'm not a grass expert but I think it may be a little early to be laying down weed and feed.

I am starting this soon, I may be too late for spring weeds but by next year I hope to have things close to under control.

About to buy some barricade, and maybe 24d as post emergent.

UPDATE: About a month and 1/2 later this didn't appear to kill a single damn weed. Waste of money and time!

Probably could have done it in mid January this year. I don't even want to know how many days of 80+ degrees we've had since 10 Jan.
