it looks like a Gheenoe 15' Classic, if so then yes it's rated for a maximum of 25 HP. That sucker is gonna haul some serious arse.

You are correct.
Got on the water this morning to break the motor in. Was seeing 23-24mph(phone gps) at half throttle with 500lbs of meat in the boat.

How do you like the classic over the 15'4" that's narrower? Is it worth the extra $1k? I've been looking at gheenoes for a while. My buddy has the narrower 15'4" that I've fished out of several times.

It's awesome man. Way more stable than the smaller one. And I like that it can accommodate more horsepower too.

What do you think the boat will top out at?

I'm hoping 35 solo and 32ish loaded down with another person. Probably gonna take some playing around to get that tho.

How does that thing handle chop? Looks great to get skinny, but does it beat the shite out of you?

Just food for thought, there is a new post over at tinboats about a guys new zuki. He has done alot of testing and says you should move up one size prop right away. I think for the 25 he says 12 pitch.
Just sharing. I dont know if I supposed to link but its over there.
Nice boat, I really want one. How does it handle wind and light chop.

Yeah I saw that post. I'm going to get a new prop soon just need to figure out exactly which one I want.
It handles it pretty well for what it is. Went into the lake with it today and it had a little chop and it handled it really well. I haven't had a chance to run it in much rough water yet tho.
