It's annoying as shite, but the guy is not breaking any laws. I feel for the cops for having to respond to this, but at least they're learning how to do their jobs

The second officer handled it perfectly in my mind. The first one tried to have a little bit of a power trip but wasnt bad at all really.

Could you really picture any of us OB posters doing shite like this?
Everyone knows anytime a white guy tries to go out and do something to make a point he just comes off as a whacko rightist racist.
Why even try. Makes the rest of us look bad.

What's the problem with someone fighting for their rights?

Its not my cup of tea, but I don't see what the issue is.

I think they were both perfectly reasonable, but yeah, people like that do nothing but feed the left's agenda

I wish this stupid fad would die out. If you are open carrying for a legitimate purpose and the cops stop you I have no problem with you filming them and giving them shite, but to go out and bait the confrontation so you can run back to your computer and post it on the internet is stupid.

Yep, I will admit, usually the cops feed the troll and overreact making them look like assholes, but these two actually handled it really well, and the guy ended up looking like an a-hole and then tried to justify it at the end by complaining that the cops lectured him.

Sadly, I think the only way to stop this is for the cops to be aware of what they are doing and not to be baited into the situation.

there's standing at a busy intersection with an AR and a video camera.

Then there's fighting for your rights.
Let's see if you can distinguish the difference between the two.

They need to just start walking up and asking, "Hey there, you out here exercising your 2nd amendment right?" When the person proceeds into speaking about how it's their right, they haven't broken any laws, & they are recording the encounter the cops should just tell them to have a nice day and turn around.

These people that are doing this are looking for a YouTube encounter. If they were just protesting and not wanting to be attention whores they would have signs stating their purpose. Instead they do crap like this and look completely childish.

Civilian: "its not an ammo bag"
Police: "A man purse, whatever"

Guy is an attention whore douche.
