I agree Meaux.. but the extreme right does what it does best...make a scene.

yeah, not much difference btw 2nd Amendment DBs, and Westboro Baptist DBs, PETA DBs, etc. It all depends on whose ox is being gored.

I'm all for being able to carry rifles around but it freaks people out. He was not breaking a law and as someone pointed out the second officer handled it perfectly. If you want to carry a weapon conceal it. It does more than just hide your weapon from bad guys it keeps the masses from losing their minds when they see a gun

you only have a problem with it because you've been conditioned to think it is wrong...
yet the norm is now hugely disproportionate amounts of gays, interracial couples, rude people, pants hanging off peoples arse, whites listening to gangsta rap and wanting to be all gangsta and stupid trucker hats with the bill flattened and turned sideways...
so this is the America you want to be a part of?

I was watching the outdoor channel last night and after the thug POS shot a deer the rap music started and played until they faded into a commercial.

My hope would be that the more often people see regular citizens carrying weapons the quicker they would get de-sensitized to it and become more accepting.
A citizen carrying a gun openly should be no different than a police officer.

I'm not a gun hating liberal, I just think WEare going about it the wrong way. Start with hand guns then work towards ARs in the future. I mean, did y'all see that guy!? I would have been worried if I saw that Nazi looking goon standing on the street corner with his man purse!

Re-read my post. I want people de-sensitized to their fellow citizens carrying any type of legal weapon.
