i didnt
and i wouldnt had shot it but was hunting with a friend and he hasnt got one this yr yet. He told me if i see a doe to kill it he wanted it! So its going in his freezer all except a bowl full im going to dehydrate for jerkey! and yes head shot

Back at it this afternoon. It's nice to hunt 200 yards from the house. I don't have this luxury in Mississippi.

Killed a 10 pt this morning in TN. Cold as shite and wind was blowing about 20 out of the North. Neck all swolt up and running stupid at the edge of a field. They're rutting hard right now with the weather change.
Aught Six from 140 yds. Got a pic of him in the back of the truck, but there's not a foot in it and he was a little hefty to hoist. I can email if someone wants to post it.
