A coworker sent me this pic he got from a buddy's game camera claiming to be a red wolf. What say the ob?

it definitely looks like one, so I vote yes, red wolf. they are extremely rare from what I have heard. very cool pic.

I'm in the coyote camp until I go google red wolf photos here shortly...

This has been discussed on here before.

Probably a higher wolf percentage in that hybrid if it's in LA.

I think W&F said the only full-blooded red wolves are in NC.

The full blood I saw in early '80's was definitely more brownish red than that .

coyote would have a bushier tail, my 2 cents. From this pic, its all speculation, no way to verify one way or the other. but its i think likely a red wolf.

could be a coywolf. they are known to be as far south as Atlanta.

definitely not a regular coyote.
